IT Consultant
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following: Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers. Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win 9x, Win2K, WinXP and WinNT 4.0/Win2K/Win2003 Server, IIS, Exchange, DNS. End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite, Quickbooks, Act!, pcAnywhere. Experience in troubleshooting LANs and WANs, switches and routers. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP. Certifications such as A+, MCSE, CNE, CCNA are a plus but not required.

IT Security Consultant
This is an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental role in providing the customers’ of Miles Technologies with cutting edge information technology security services. Responsibilities:

Software Developer/Computer Programmer
Ideal candidate will have experience in the following: Designing, developing, and implementing both back-end database structures and front-end application user interfaces and application logic. Experience with MS Access, SQL, VB, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript. Experience developing complete applications from beginning to end. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following: Designing complete, fully functional web sites using HTML editors such as DreamWeaver. Experience developing sites from concept to design to publishing. Expertise in utilizing graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator in addition to possessing file compression experience. Experience with animation tools such as Macromedia Flash, Shockwave and Director as well as expertise in ActionScripting. Project Coordinator
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in either Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or other major related to business or information technology. Ability to assess a business’ needs and translate that into a system design that automates processes and creates efficiencies for the business. Ability to thoroughly test software to ensure that it fully meets the business requirements set forth in a scope of work. Ability to comprehend accounting principals and the effect business transactions have on a general ledger. Sales Representative
This is an exciting opportunity to manage your exclusive sales territory with 50,000+ potential prospects. Miles Technologies Marketing will generate hundreds of leads for you, and you will have access to many existing customer references from these territories to aid you in developing and closing new business. Your pipeline will include IT Infrastructure & Support, Software, Business Consulting, and IT Security leads, generally having a very short-sales cycle. The right individuals will also have an opportunity for vertical growth into the territorial sales manager role.
The Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of proven outside sales experience (IT experience preferred ); consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas; and the desire to be the best salesperson in the market. Excellent salesmanship skills: ability to listen to and identify prospects’ needs, ability to provide solutions that capture the prospects’ interest, and ability to close sales. Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility is to bring in new business.
- Salesperson will respond to leads generated by our advertising and marketing methods, yet they are also encouraged to generated leads outside of our advertising and marketing methods.
- The first contact with the prospect generated from our advertising and marketing is typically via phone and the salesperson performs a needs analysis over the phone.
- Based on the complexity of the customer’s needs, the salesperson will either develop an estimate/scope of work for the customer and pursue the close of the sale independently (this may involved some on-site visits to prospect’s office), or they will schedule an analysis meeting to include other technical staff, such as project managers.
- The salesperson will be involved in these analysis meetings and will follow up by creating the scope of work/estimate and pursuing the close of the sale through continued follow up with the prospective customers.
- The meetings can be held in our satellite offices (North and Central Jersey, Philadelphia Suburbs, and Long Island, NY area) or the salesperson may visit the customer location.
- Once the prospect is converted into a customer, the salesperson will hand off the project to a project manager.
- From there the project manager works with the customer and we have account managers that perform sales for existing, active customers.
- This salesperson does have incentive to continue to cultivate his/her new clients as he/she will get commission on the new customer sales for year 1 and year 2.

CSST Sales Representative
Miles Technologies has an exciting career opportunity as a sales representative for our CSST Software. CSST stands for Client Social Services Tracking. It is an Enterprise class database solution- specially designed for Social Services Agencies. CSST was designed from the ground up as a full-agency database solution designed to get all agency departments working together and making tracking and reporting, whether by office or for the full agency, quick and easy.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling CSST Software, Maintenance, Training and other services related to the CSST Software (data integration and importing, custom report generation, etc.)
- Will conduct sales presentations and software demonstrations, both online and onsite, to prospective customers.
- Attend trade shows and conventions related to agencies that are prospective customers of CSST software.
- Will develop a prospect list through contacting CAP (Community Action Program) agencies throughout the U.S.
- Will help to broaden the market for CSST software by developing prospects in non-CAP social service agencies.
- Maintain relationships with CSST customers through ongoing contact.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of a proven direct sales record (can prove sales experience with quantifiable numbers).
- Software sales experience a plus but not necessary
- College education a plus but not a requirement
- Ability to learn details of software application functionality
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
- Knowledge of social services industry a plus but not required.
- Experience selling grant proposals to the government a plus, but not required.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide excellent customer service and identify sales opportunities for a group of active customers of Miles Technologies . The primary objectives of the role are to maximize customer retention and to quickly provide our customers with what they need.
